I’m not the greatest at casting cause I’m just learning but I lost 2 lures trying to learn. Snapped right off with no resistance at all. Worst braided line ever

I was ecstatic to see a 40 lbs/500 yds line on sale for $6.99. Upon delivery, I immediately started testing it, as I have done with all my fishing lines, and I was able to break the line effortlessly on multiple attempts. There is NO WAY this line can hold 40 lbs and it even feels weaker than my 12 lbs monofilament Berkeley. Returning it.
