Wouldn’t it be nice to have power ports in all the places you need them? Being able to charge your Smartphone or tablet by USB while you sit on the sofa using it or keep it ready and charged on your nightstand?
Our appetite for electrical gadgets has grown so fast that the power outlets in our homes just haven’t kept up. The PowerCube is your one stop solution to all that in a compact form. It was created by a group of graduates of industrial design from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and was a 2014 Winner of the Red Dot design awards.
With 4 US type plug sockets and 2 USB ports you can connect all manner of devices and because of the plug layout each port can be used without impeding access or functionality of any of the others.
Its 1.5 meter (5ft ), extension cord lets the PowerCube Extended USB reach those out of the way sockets and bring their power to exactly where you need it. You can relocate and turn one plug socket in to 4 US type sockets with 2 additional USB ports that lets you connect anything you need in a convenient, easy to reach location.
To secure it the PowerCube in place just use the docking port and adisive pads provided. Once the docking port has been position the PowerCub just twists onto the docking port that occupies one of the sockets and holds it firmly in place. Now you can reposition that bedroom plug socket to the nightstand and plug in your alarm radio, lamp as well as phone or tablet so as you can read the news catch up on e-mails or just watch some cute cat videos before bed.
This PowerCube has 4 US type sockets as well as 2 USB ports, and supports up to 15Amps and 125Volts. The modular design lets you add any number of PowerCubes together so you can customize the plug setup wherever you need them.
