It really looks black.Later… I had to buy two sets of these to fit across a rather wide window. I couldn’t figure out at first why they looked weird. Then I realized that the “stripes” are darker going one way than they are going the other. That’s fine, but on one pair of curtains, they sewed the darker stripes horizontal and the other set vertically. So I just now had to come on here and order another set. How ever the new set comes in, we’ll go with that, and throw out the other set. A waste, but I don’t know what else to do. |

My windows are average width but I did need to purchase 2 for each window so the would bunch up the way I like. I guess for a small window or if you like the flat look, 1 would work just fine. Color is very nice. I have washed once and they held up nicely. |
