by Mrs. Edwards USA on 2023-07-17 03:26:53 | | I know there are a lot of positive reviews and my issue might be a one off but.....I purchased the 30lb 1000yd spool & it was labeled that way on the top stickers but I just so happened to see some wording underneath a piece of sticker that came off and underneath, on the original spool it read 20lb 500 meter (see picture). Still will work for my application I'm using it for but still....I feel a little played. The green is also closer to a really bright green vs the moss green pictured. Just a heads up. |

The line left blue dye all over my fingers when I was first working with it and I have had nothing but tangles since I've started using it. It is strong so I didn't downgrade it for that and as thin as I was hoping. |

(Like when loading monofiliment) I finally just let it unspool (Like when loading a casting reel) I was concerned that I would have a lot of kinks but it came of cleanly and the line did not kink (Like mono when unspooled the wrong direction) Seems to cast a long distance without kinking. |

I never broke Kastking once throwing in the same environment for years. Swapped to this stuff and broke on multiple occasions. It’s not bad by any means. I wished I would have purchased the 30lb.I will try this in a 30lb and review afterward. |

Seems strong but haven’t had the chance to test it fully on a big fish. One thing I noticed is the color/coating on the line is rubbing off on the guides and on any thing the line rubs against. Not sure how that will affect the rod and the line in the long run. |

Got my rig back after grabbing the line with my hands and a rag. Very strong. The color rubbed off on my hands.. Not a problem, just a mention |

On a nice fish the line cuts into your fingers. I think this line would work well on my reels for trolling or casting. For ice fishing I would recommend going heavier so that the line diameter is thicker. |
