These were a life saver, and at a good price. They really do heat a room, but I do suggest closing open doors to get best results in rooms larger than a bedroom. With that said though, if you are really bothered by "white noise" effects (or even sound in general), than these machines are not for you. My family and I were not bothered by them, but we are a city family and frankly the continuous heater den is WAY better than what me might usually be subjected to sound wise. None |

This one, however, does actually turn off when it gets too warm, and turns back on without having to adjust the thermostat. I just wanted something to take the chill out or something my son could put at his feet while he did school so he wouldn't freeze, not something that really needed to totally heat the room. I sit this little heater on the table and even if its 40 degrees outside, it blows hot air to keep my hands, arms, face warm and every now and then i'll put it on the seat beside me to warm my legs too. This little guy does the trick. It has two controls: one for the amount of heat and the other for of/on, fan only, low heat or high heat. I have left it on low heat while I slept and it was just right. It has a safety feature that automatically shuts it off if it tips over or you move it. I needed a space heater for my office, all my windows face west so my office will be around 60° until the afternoon and i got tired of being cold. I wanted something with tip over protection, so that was the first thing i checked. Its got pressure sensitive feet on the bottom, so as soon as it tips any direction it shuts off. I do wish the manual that comes with it was for the actual model, the photos shown arent the same dial and id like to know more info on the energy saving function None |

The heat in my office at work was broken for months in the midst of the winter so my office was freezing cold without this heater. But this little heater warmed up my room like a champ all day every day. Love the adjustable temperature control so I could decide how warm I wanted the room and also how fast I wanted to warm up the room. Also love that it has a fan feature as well for days I didn’t need heat. It turns off immediately if it gets knocked over which is an essential safety feature. Completely satisfied. No complaints. Only negative is the screen on front can get so hot that it could burn you (not badly) if you were to touch it with bare skin.The anti-tip over feature is a little flimsy feeling but works every time without fail. Just worried that it could easily be broken by someone being too rough with it which would render the unit unusable because with out being on a completely flat surface (not reliable on carpet) and the safety feature.Will buy another one or two next winter None |
