Thankfully that was still within the return period, so I got 2 replacement pumps in. I've had them for about the same time and they've both stopped working within the same week. I'd suggest just spending a little more on something built to last.A great example of you get what you pay for. |

If the sound still bothers you add a rubber band to the Dring and hang from the rubberband the pretty much elimnates 95% of noise |

I cut the end off the USB cord, and I'm powering it with a 6 volt solar cell. I normally keep it covered with that blue paint bucket thing you see in the foreground. I would recommend this product to a friend. |

(I guess theyre quieter now that theyre broken) ill have to find a better quality one out there similar to these. Cuz they really were my fav and had great output. |

by Joannie USA on 2023-08-23 19:39:40 | | Yes they work sort of. For limited case uses I would recommend but in normal use get a normal air pump and save yourself hassle. Good thing is these are low power and capable of usb usage. The resistor can be cut off and lower power usage even further but some USB hubs/packs may need the extra power usage from the resistor to avoid going into a sleep mode. If these crap out you can un screw the three screws and get them unstuck and possible but a bit of silicone lube (not caulk) on the spindle. Great for minnow buckets or temporary live well buckets for fishing. But long term use for an aquarium I wouldn’t recommend just because there are more durable options with replaceable parts from normal sources. |

Nope the second set of two that I bought lasted the same amount of time each. I had them working in an aquarium set up, so they were on full time.They would be good for something like moving fish on a long drive where you want aeration. |
