I don't count that as a negative because I was surprised it was included.Update, I have changed my rating to three star as both pumps have now failed. The first one last roughly 6 weeks and the second failed are just over 3 months. Both pumps had check valves installed in correct orientation. |

The carabineer makes it easy to hang anywhere. I wish these were sold in local fish stores. The silicone tube is trash though, it will not stay connected to a check valve, just use regular airline tubing. |

Loved how quiet it was so I put it in my 5 gal..gas... after a year I added one to the 29 and 20 and 10. Run 24/7 and quiet! I did have one broken in shipping worked for a bit then quit but the oldest one is going on 2 years. |

You can run them from a laptop, good if the power goes out... Middle of the road for noise. OK on power. I power sponge filters with them. Largest tank is an 8 gallon. Worked well while working. I like that they hang. |

Works like a charm and is really quiet. |

Will easily run a sponge filter for a 20 gallon. Suggest a valve control or air bleed set up for nano tanks because of the high air flow. I'm guessing about 0.6 to 0.7 liters of air per minute. |

I had been using it to run secondary sponge filter in a grow out tank and to my surprise, I come home and the pump is not running. Thankfully the hang on back filter in the tank was providing adequate surface agitation so my fish didn’t suffocate but I cannot recommend something that could fail at any moment killing countless fish. The only positive is that it was very quiet so it was perfect for the kids room but aside from that there are no redeeming quality for this air pump. If you want to roll the dice with these pumps make sure you have counter measures in place or else it could cost you more than you’ll save. |
by Colin USA on 2023-07-13 20:55:45 | | I just bought 2 more after the first one failed.-lasted about 6 months, good value/qualitythey dont last the longest and they do slow down but they are so cheap to replace and my outlet has a timed USB that works good for this.very whisper quiet.comes with everything needed, I run the included stone and works great,I bought aquarium line suction cups to use on this kit to hold the stone close to the wall.keep in mind this is for small aquariums. |
