by Cousins USA on 2023-07-05 13:26:02 | | i know, i know."buy cheap products, get cheap products"the wires inside this aren't soldered together. i mean, that's a problem not everyone can solve. i tested the connections and the product /works/..... if i can get them all to stay in place without accidentally insulating them. if youve got problems with yours, unplug it, pull back the silicone, and see if everything is hooked up. the "quality check passed" sticker made me laugh. i doubt it was checked at all. |

So that kind of negates the value. But worked well while it worked. UPDATE: both have stopped working in less than 6 months.Don't bother. |

If you lose power, these would be able to plug in to a power brick, since it uses a usb, to keep your sponge filter and/or an airstone going (during transit too). These are super quiet. You may wonder if it’s even on because it’s that quiet. WAY more quiet than the battery air pumps. Just need to be aware that it doesn’t come with a plug adapter. I happen to have a couple on hand so it wasn’t a big deal for me, but if you don’t have one you might be frustrated. The ones sold by Aquarium Co-op are a bit more expensive but they come with the usb plug. Depends on what you need. Overall, I would highly recommend these for the device itself. The airstone is nothing special and the little bit of tubing is very thin and squishy. |

It works only when plugged in. So if you need it in a “portable” use situation like fishing or travel, you need to have a power bank with you. Very disappointed. It’s an inaccurate description |

I did not use an air check valve on either. Both of them stopped working within 3 weeks. I didn't expect them to last even a year, but dang, less than 3 weeks for both is pretty bad. |
