Found that the blue colour setting uses less power than the orange and that they can be a little tricky to charge since the solar-panel has about a 1" lip on the top, but if you angle the jar, using the lid as an extra balance point, then you can better direct them towards the sunlight through a window to charge.

Upon reading the review where they call them Glow Bottles i tried to incorporate that into my pitch but they arrived a 'Shine Bottles' - woulda preferred some standardisation on what theyre gunna call them but i received no complaints on that front. Of the 6 I sold one person reported the item to not work, requested a refund, but when i emailed explaining they had to be in direct sunlight for a long time etc and to get back to me after checking again i heard nothing so i can only assume it was their mistake so i can, at least pretty confidently, say there was a 100% success on this prouct. Good Stuff -I will be ordering again... maybe this product or i may try another who knows! :p

I must say this is a great Jar safe and lights up the room and with a nice touch 5 starts!

The original Sun or Moon jar comes in either amber or blue, but this jar can display both colours. It sits on my window sill and glows beautifully at night. It's the perfect night light!

These 'Glow Bottles' do exactly what they say they do, The packaging they arrive in calles them Glow Bottles, but that don't matter as once they're out of the packaging they look perfect. They light up enough to make a difference in the room and you don't need batteries, the blue light is calming in the twilight hours and the yellow light gives a good old fashioned feeling to any room, just charge and wait for the sun to go down. So good i bought two. I wouldn't mind seeing a version where the light moves around inside the bottle like a fairy. Good job guys .R

Small and compact, very cheap alternative to the large Brand names with no cutbacks on quality! I have it plugged into one of the back USB port of my Desktop, i never see it and it works like a dream, no worries about it breaking as it's so small you're unlikely to catch your clothing or step on it. All we need now is for Chinavasion to find a manufacturer for a Bluetooth mouse and sell them in combo. Great Job, loved this one .R

Children will be facinted and will most definetly love this product
