This is the best and most powerful laser I have ever used! My order was shipped 10/21/10 and I recieved it on 10/22/10! 2 days, from Shenzhen,CN to Oregon, US now that's awesome!!

pops black ballons almost instantly..lights matchs in a couple of seconds.if you felt pen the heads blue or black..even if the STOCK battry hasnt been charged for awhile..works well outside for construction and excavating..the double locking trigger is trick and well thought out...frank van beek

Really like the ability to expand the beam, it's bright, and locks for safety from kids. Good for day or night, and star gazing is truly much better with it. The laser is made of a strong black metal casing and the battery is nice because it recharges. I would recommend this laser to anyone who is an astronomer, teacher, scientist, law enforcement, or any responsible person. This should never be shown into the sky where there is aircraft, or in anyone's eyes.

I just got this laser in the mail. I have got it to light matches with ease (coloring the match head black). Pops balloons in seconds. I can't wait until tonight to bring it out side! you can sorta see the beam in day light. i got a stronger battery at radio shack, unfortunatly it isnt rechargable but it was cheap. highly recommended! worth the money. and only 4 days shipping without any problems in customs.

Very impressive laser, was delivered to houston TX within 3 day! Cant get it to light a match yet but love to use it to point out the stars. It will burn a lot of items, mainly whatever is black especially trash bags. All my friends want one now and I will recomend chinavasion!

Great laser, haven't figured out how to focus it to light matches, could have came with instructions on focusing but overall, great product, super fast shipping and great metal enclosure!! thanks for awesome product! :)

I am increasing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. Initally I could not light a match. I have found the battery to be the reason. The battery is a 3v 700mah. I have ordered a 3v 1250 mah because at 700 it can't maintain consistant power flow. But that's ok because it shows this laser really does have more potential than stated :) ... When finding a battery you'll see 3v and 3.7v. Both are the same because all 123a's are actually 3.7v. Have Now tested it up to 2.93 miles in the dark :). Have popped balloons, and they pop very fast from 3 feet, especially black ones since black absorbs heat quicker than any color. Tested on black leather with a glossy finish and it begins smoking and burning a hole instantly. Love this laser! Have to buy a better battery but that's ok it's better to have 2 instead of 1. Oh and shipping from china to Texas (U.S.A.) only took 3 days via Dtandard fedex shipping. Thank you for an amazing product!

Beautiful metal case, great lock feature. Very bright have tested night distance of 1.3 miles so far. Love the ability to widen the beam for beter star pointing.

I have been using a lot of normal laser pointers but this is something different. It is so much brighter and stronger that I can reach far away buildings or use it like a light sword in the sky (watch out planes though ! ;))
This is a IIIb class laser so be careful, it is not to be used with your slideshows ! (this laser class requires to have two security locks, one safety key and the main body can twist covering the "on" button so it is safe for children not to play with it.)

This laser pointer actually outperformed the 200mW laser, I guess thanks to it's rechargeable battery.
