Challenging to work with, though, as the points for soldering are really small, and failed pretty quickly. I have a nice digital soldering station, so I don't think I burnt it, the joints just failed quickly. Can't get another set of leads to attach. If you can, you'll have a ball with this thing. Also, maybe don't look at it directly, it is QUITE bright. ![]() |

On a 12V automobile system, ( 13.5 v + with engine running) without limiter will take far too much current and fry.Even at rated 70W, will get far too hot and die without heatsinking.BUT, at less than half rated power, do NOT look at this from close range. It is a retina blaster! I Have not decided on a use for it yet, but it is amazing anyway. ![]() |
by Ghada USA ![]() on 2023-08-15 02:59:42 | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() This little light panel puts out a lot of light. But the aluminum back side does get pretty warm. There are NO instructions with this panel so you need to be a DIY type to figure out how to use it. There are 3 little holes at one end. Two to pass connector wires through. The middle hole I'm assuming is to hang it with (or something). On either side of the middle hole is a tiny square metallic spot. (marked pos & neg) I soldered my connector wires to these spots. I put a cigarette lighter plug on the other end. The light is very white, not bluish, & floods an area pretty well. It needs to be mounted some way to control direction, but that's where your ingenuity comes in. In the Amazon info, it says 70 watts. At a 12 volt input, this calculates to 5.8 Amps, not 13 Amps as indicated. This would be a 5 star light panel if it came with some clear instructions ![]() |
