They arrived fairly quickly and I was happy that all of the items I ordered worked properly. The output on these is quite good. The beam is greatly more visible than a 5mw green laser, and not much different from a 50mw. It's right on the edge of where you don't want to play with it indoors because it's too intense and reflections back to your eyes could be dangerous. I have no way to actually test the output, but just from comparing to other lasers, I would think that these do actually output the claimed 30mW. Overall, I am very happy with the performance and value, Chinavasion fast shipping was nice too. If you have no desire to "burn" stuff close up, I think that these are much better value than the "200mW laser + torchlight" which I also purchased.

on 2020-11-17 17:10:48 | | A word of cautionI bought 4 of these lasers and was at first dissapointed with the performance. They seemed to be little more than 5mw at best. If like me you use NIMH batteries to save money, they will not give you 3Volts, they will only give you 2.4Volts. As soon as I put two normal batteries in the lasers the brightness improved dramatically. Good product, excellent value, and I believe they truely are 30mw with the full 3Volts applied.
