20lb line cast better than Kastking but the Kastking seems noticeably more durable. Put it this way. I never broke Kastking once throwing in the same environment for years. Swapped to this stuff and broke on multiple occasions. It’s not bad by any means. I wished I would have purchased the 30lb.I will try this in a 30lb and review afterward.
I knew I was taking a chance buying the cheap stuff and I got what I paid for. The line left blue dye all over my fingers when I was first working with it and I have had nothing but tangles since I've started using it. It is strong so I didn't downgrade it for that and as thin as I was hoping.
Haven’t been able to find bigger roles of braided line in stores near me lately so this was a great buy. Plenty of line to spoil my 6500 reel. Seems strong but haven’t had the chance to test it fully on a big fish. One thing I noticed is the color/coating on the line is rubbing off on the guides and on any thing the line rubs against. Not sure how that will affect the rod and the line in the long run.
After 30 minutes of use the line was frayed pretty decently within 10 feet from leader. My hands were black from the dye bleeding from the line. total garbage. I would return it for a refund but its spooled on several reels.Took it off of my reels and tossed the rest of it in the trash.
