on 01/24/2009: Again, the quality is better than I expected, and the styling and functionality is superb. Unlink most people, I don't use Windows. I use Ubuntu Linux as my main operating system, along with other flavors of Linux. This webcam was detected immediately and functioned properly right out of the box. No tinkering needed. I really like this unit and plan on ordering a few more. The shipping to Canada resulted in a total cost to me of $29.29 CAD. At this price I think the most I can make from each unit is about $10., but it's still a great webcam.

on 01/07/2008: The quality is very impressive. It's solid metal and has a nice feel/weight to it, and the pitcher quality is pretty good, especially for the price.
No Driver install was required, plugged it in and XP detected, did a behind the scenes usb install and it was up and running.
I bought the sample with the intention of ordering in bulk if I liked it, but the shipping cost are prohibitive. Shipping adds an additional 60% to the cost of the order. I have concerns as to weather or not I can turn a profit at that rate.
