by marco de bie NLD on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | - great bang for the buck - bluetooth to helmet works great - gps-software easy to install - adequate (just) performance - great screen (visibility) - great screen (for a resistive screen it's very responsive) - Comes with different mount-options and powercables - supports 16Gb SDHC micro sd-cards - no GPS software preinstalled - no fuse supplied (it is not a good idea to connect it to your vehicle's power supply without a fuse) - (just) adequate performance - mounts are plastic, not metal.
by Stephen McIntyre GBR on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | Awesome bit of kit, superb price and quality. Can take most FREE!!!! (hmm, hmm) software I installed Primo 2013, almost identical operation as my 2014 Mazda 3 sat nav (unsure what system car has had to change mount as ball smaller than 1" and was unable to fit to bars being a sportsbike GSXR1000 K6, extra parts are available if you need.
by Thomas Decker DEU on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | Good deal for the price. Rugged finish, rubber lips for sealing. Sturdy plastic mount with slots for direct access to mini USB and the other connectors. No need to pull out the device. Fast GPS fix, low drift at standstill. Got this soft running: iGO8, iGO Primo 2.0, Navigon 6.2 and 7.7.5, OziCE, TwoNav. WinCE6 is a little bit stripped down and there is no english language choice. Everything is chinese, what makes it a little bit difficult to adapt some software, which will not run at first try. Had to add some DLLs to get some piece working.
by Andrew VTR1000F CAN on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | Great Price Fast Shipping! Looks Rugged so it probably is. good screen size good mounting hardware included, no problems with mounting to mirror and v-twin vibrations or 90+mph winds Not sure if this is a pos or a neg for the item so I put it in both. For running software you need to find something on the web and then load files which can be a bit of work if you are not much of a nerd. but it works just fine. in direct sunlight screen is a a bit difficult to read, although I don't have any experience with other GPS units for a comparison. by rick daugherty USA on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | Gps systems really need to come with maps loaded onto them as most customers have no clue how to load them and any GPS we have ever purchased has preloaded maps also this shoulod be warned to u in big bold letters not hidden deep in description
by Roderick Borst NLD on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | Nice big screen Sturdy build/feel, withs lots of rubber on the device so it wont slip and slide very easy. Easy too use Fast satelite pick up when using navigation, only a second (maybe 2) Installing navigation software is very easy. I had to frankenstein 2 versions into one but still very easy. Just Copy and Paste, setting the path and the device did it straight away Fraction of the price of a Garmin or TomTom Suctioncup mount worked in the car on the windscreen. On my bike it didnt at all. In the sunlight screen can be a little hard to see sometimes, but im getting a headset soon. So i wont be looking at the screen much. When using in the car, sound isnt extremely high volume (even on loudest setting) u will need to turn down your music a little to hear it. Packaging could use a little bit of filling to help protect the product(s) from accidentle bumps or what not.
by James Roman USA on 2014-10-01 21:33:17 | looks like an updated version of the peaklife motorcycle GPS. Works very well with the iGO map card here http://www.ecrater.com/p/10235152 ride on! |
