I bought this dry bag for a cave tubing tour. I didn't get a chance to test it before I left, so I'll admit, I was a little nervous. I bought the 2L bag. I pack 2 pairs of shorts and my phone. Once I had it wrapped (and closed properly), I strapped it to my tube and let it float behind me. See photo. Everything stayed dry even after it passed a few small waterfalls. The straps for carrying the bag as a backpack are great and look durable. Remember that any sharp objects in the bag will pierce it, so be careful with your packaging. It's worth the money I spent. I will recommend to friends.

Had an 8 mile kayak trip and hit a tight spot with fast flowing water. My kayak started absorbing water so fast that it was all over my dry bag. After I made it through rough terrain and my kayak had emptied of water and the dry bag was still attached, I got back inside. When I removed the bag from the kayak, I was very happy to find that nothing got wet. This is a great product.

I bought a small bag and I packed my phone, keys and a pair of shorts. I took the pouch down the river and used it several times in the water. My items have never gotten wet. The bag did not leak. I'm a little surprised there's no zipper, but I haven't had any issues with water getting inside. I didn't submerge the bag in water for a long time.
