I am amazed how useful they are, give them to the kids and they can run around camp and use them. Like any other radio, reception depends on your terrain. But when we used them many times, they worked as well as we could from the terrain we were in. Battery life is excellent, lasting an entire afternoon if not nearly a full day (depending on usage). We bought extra spare batteries, which we haven't used because the battery life has been more than enough for us so far. I would recommend these affordable products for any family activity.

My kids use it for treasure hunt adventures and it works great. The audio of the site line is very clear. Once they're further away and behind the structure, it's less important, but we're very happy with the purchase. It also looks durable. Time will tell, but we've been using it for a few months and everything is still working. The battery looks thin, but lasts during gaming, and the build looks above the price point we're paying. very satisfied!
