Cheaped out the first time and got the original. We had it for about one month and it worked well, but the quality was garbage. So I got this one and the quality is so much better. I would recommend not getting the original and buying this one.
I was flabergasted by the price. But now having it, it's totally worth it!! I live in an apartment complex where someone was constantly going through and opening my packages. This ring video door bell makes me feel so much more secured. My only issue was the installation. The video is very clear and the app was so easy to navigate. The app alerts me whenever motion is detected (this feature can be adjusted on app) and also updates you on security items that are happening in your area (car burglaries to pets missing). This item is amazing and I highly recommend it!
