3. Working principle:
Due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion, when the temperature changes, the degrees of thermal expansion and contraction of the two sides of the bimetal sheet are different, so the degree of bending changes at different temperatures.
When the temperature is higher than the expansion temperature of the bimetal, the contact position of the bimetal is deformed and disconnected, and the circuit is disconnected.
When the temperature is lower than the expansion temperature of the bimetal, the contact position of the bimetal returns to its original shape and closes, and the circuit is closed.
The thermostat is divided into normally open and normally closed
Normally closed: After the temperature is set, the thermostat is in the normally closed state. When the actual ambient temperature drops to or close to the set temperature, the load heating will be started. Usually the thermostat is in the normally closed state. When the actual ambient temperature When the temperature is higher than the set temperature, the load is always in the shutdown state.
Normally open: After the temperature is set, the thermostat is in the normally open state. When the actual ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature, it will start the load cooling. Usually the thermostat is in the normally open state. When the actual ambient temperature When the temperature is lower than the set temperature, the load is always in a shutdown state
