Worked well for intended use. My son ran out of storage on his PlayStation and had to delete games in order to make room for more. He’s now been able to replace the games he had to delete as well as download 15-20 new ones and he has plenty more space to download future purchases. Shipped fast and packaged well. With a larger storage capacity, there is a slight wait time if you are searching the drive for a file. There is also a one-second lag when you store a file. My last remote hard drive (40 GB) saved files very quickly but it had far less capacity. I had to train myself to pause for a second when I save files.

I have an OG XBOXONE with a 500g drive which means like 3 games at any given time. I got this so I could have some selection and not get capacity anxiety. Once hooked up, the Xbox sees it, asks you how you want to use it, and then has it ready within minutes. I set this as my preferred installation location and have all my games on it. Recently I got a second Xbox one. The coolest thing is that I can simply plug this into whichever box I'm using (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and all my games are there. No installing on each Xbox or whatever. Just swap over the drive and I'm golden.
