FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  • If my CCTV cameras include Night Vision functionality, will i still be able to view the video feed at night if the CCTV cameras are connected to the this video network server?
Yes, this network video server will not affect any of the functions and features that are included in your CCTV surveillance security cameras
  • How to I setup the dynamic DNS?
There are two ways of configuring the dynamic DNS. 1) There is a built in dynamic DNS (Only has support for 3322 Dynamic DNS) provider within the network video server. 2) use your router's built in Dynamic DNS to access the video network server (recommended). First you need to register at any Dynamic DNS service provider such as; dynadns.org etc, after you have registered with a Dynamic DNS service provider, you should then insert the information provided by your provider that you have registered with into your router, and setup port forwarding (this service uses port 80, it should it be changed for security reasons to any available) to the local IP address of the network video server.
