by Nikos Evangelidakis GRC ![]() on 2014-04-14 03:12:52 | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Works many hours, connected to HD TV, super easy use with wireless mouse, streams from my pc,connects ok with local network and wireless. ![]() Remote control is a bit useless and uncomfortable but is replaced by the mouse anyway. The turn-off button not working, i need to unplug power to turn off. In a 14" tv it did not show okay, maybe it needed further settings. When browsing its a bit slow. |

by Martin Maas GBR ![]() on 2013-09-03 02:59:20 | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() This little PC gadget is very impressive. I still cannot get over how fast it is. I purchased this direct from Chinavasion and wanted it to do everything from quick media catchup to DLNA media player. I have a Raspberry Pi with a 1 terrabyte HDD storing all music to play via this Android PC and using optic feed to the Media centre amplifier which is one of the criteria I always wanted. I am currently using XBMC to stream as the Android apps will not see 1 terrabyte unless rooted. XBMC uses SMB which is fine for now and the sound quality is very impressive on all genres. I'm not sure if a mini-A to mini-B will allow you to read up to 2 terrabyte as the USB 2 connections will not unless you root the droid. The wifi speed is incredible and I got speed test of 63Mb/s which is the total Broadband speed from ISP. This very energy efficient gadget means I now no longer have to fire up my Gaming PC just to put on the tunes. Excellent and highly recomended. ![]() The power button comes on now and again by itself. When powered off the blue button goes to red or standby then switches on by itself for some reason. This can happen immediately or hours later. I pull the power cable out and it remains in the off mode (no light at all). Chinavasion - let me know if there is a solution? |
