8GB Digital Spy Pen with Image Capture and Video Recording

This device is a lot more than spycam. It is also a camera for static photography, a USB drive, a sound recorder, a webcam, and of course a pen. The quality of the video is very nice HD. I recently purchased this spy pen and really satisfied with it! For the money, it is more than worth the price. I was hesitant to order at first because the price is sooo low compared to the others sites but I had to try. I am amazed when I received it within three days from ordering it, that's including the weekend days! DHL is awesome.

Ok when I first read these reviews I thought a lot of them were made up or bogus. I have tried a number of different spycams from multiple vendors. This one clearly has the best quality of them all. If you want it to remain undetected, a tiny square of electrical tape blends in perfectly to cover the led record light. I went to a shop where I wanted a closer look at some of the products, they didn't allow photography, so I took the pen with me. It did a fabulous job of capturing the products so I was able to review them again when I was at home. The light compensation is one of the best I have ever seen. The only downside to this product is the 1 hour battery life. I solved this problem by purchasing a second pen :) Now when one hits the 1 hour limit, I simply plug in my portable usb battery charger to it, and switch to the other pen while it charges. The pen holds 8gb of data, which allows you to record again once you are done charging, without downloading the data to your computer first! How awesome is that. But seriously if you're looking for a spycam pen, get this one, you will NOT be disappointed. The instructions could use a better translation, but overall, just playing with it for a few days will give you the feel of how it works.
Another Excellent product. I will continue to use Chinavision from now on.

Ok so first off How do you get the time and date settings to work?....ok besides that this pen is simply amazing. Although the instruction manual is a bit hard to under stand especially the fact that i followed each step and could not get the time to change on it at all. Picture quality is amazing, audio is perfect, and video fantastic. The one i bought is actually being sold to a Private Investigator this weekend! So if any of you know how to change the time and date please let me know.

First, the little LED on the back DOES blink ALL the time it is recording, so you may want a tiny piece of black tape over that at times, depending on what you're wearing and how you're mounting it.
Second, when you connect the data cable you must have the selector switch in the MIDDLE position, M, in order for the computer to find the 'drive'. Third, YES, the batteries WILL charge when using the data cable, not just the charging cable. Leave the charging cable and car adapter in your car, because although the memory will hold a few hours of video, the battery only lasts about one hour.

SOUND is quite good also, equal to any picture-camera video-mode 8-bit sound recording.
PHOTO mode quite good, sound-activated mode tends to make a lot of small files but catches everything, not bad at all.
QUALITY is very good, nicely made and looks great in use.

I ordered on the 20th and received it on the 23rd!! Excellent shipping from Chinavasion and FedEx. The camera pen is exactly what it says it is. The instructions and procedures take a little getting used to, but works great!

The driver software actually happens to be in the pen itself. The documentation just has to be updated.

FIRST!!! THE PHOTO that shows where the Mic is WRONG on THIS page. (Please fix it) Where the read circle indicated MIC.. is really the reset button. The Mic is a nice one.. just behind the clip, under the lens.

Wonderful and very professional "Feel" spy cam. Nice to have HD 1280x960 MJpeg AVI files. Plays on everything I have.

The "Stand by" feature is incredible. This gives me the ability to "Forget" my pen.. and get every word (and/or video) while I'm away. Super for catching co-workers or people you are making deals with. "Oh I need to use the bathroom.." Then catch them talking about you while you're gone.

The 1600x1200 2MegaPixel camera is at its best when "Shooting" things up close. This is not a camera to shoot landscapes. It is for use close up in good lighting conditions.

The video camera suffers from low light issues. But hey.. this is not a $500 spy pen! It exceeds my use and you can't beat the 8GB of memory.

I'll be sure and buy another one (backup) and one for my business partner.

A very good spy cam.....i have used this a couple of times so far, and none off those were recorded ever knew what was going on.....even didn't have a clue......Good work guys.....Only one bad thing about it.....You can write only for 1 hour continuesly with full charged buttery using only 2 Gbs of the internal memory.Eventhough, this spy cam is really good.Nice job ;=)

I bought this product on the 29th of Oct. This wasn't available in stock at that moment. I got the delivery today Nov 06 and from the moment I opened it up, I was amazed as to what a piece of creativity is this, made available to common consumers. I did a few recordings with the same and this thing actually works and lives up to the expectations!!! Thanks Chinavasion for making this available at such a low price...
